Cake Poker Kamikaze Sit And Go’s
Cake Poker has introduced a few new Sit and Go poker tournaments recently. This article will explain everything you need to know about the new Cake Kamikaze Sit and Gos.
The beta Sit and Gos started when 30 players are registered. The players were split up into three tables of 10 players at each table. Cake Poker decided to change this and offer 10 player, one table Kamikaze Sit and Gos and 20 player, two table games. All of the games are No Limit Holdem.
The buy-ins for these Sit and Gos range from $1 to $10. Here is a list of all the available Kamikaze Sit and Gos on Cake Poker:
$1+$0.10, 10 players
$1+$0.10, 20 players
$2+$0.20, 10 players
$2+$0.20, 20 players
$3+$0.30, 10 players
$3+$0.30, 20 players
$5+$0.50, 10 players
$5+$0.50, 20 players
$10+$1, 10 players
$10+$1, 20 players
These Sit and Gos are extremely fast and are nothing like normal Sit and Gos. Each player is forced to go all in every hand. That means the one table Sit and Gos are usually just one hand long! Whoever wins the first hand wins ten buy-ins. In the case of the $1+$0.10 games with 10 players, the winner gets $10. The only way these games could last more than one hand is if there is a split. The 20 player Sit and Gos pay 12 buy-ins to 1st place and 8 buy-ins to 2nd place. In these Sit and Gos, there are two tables of ten players each, so if no splits take place, they are exactly 2 hands long. The first hand will have two winners, one from each table and the second hand will be dealt to those two players at the final table.
So, as you can see there is no skill involved, 100% luck. However, if you can start off hot or simply win one of your first nine games, you will not only be making a profit, but you will be racking up rakeback very quickly. The rake is 10% for all Kamikaze Sit and Gos. Our suggestion is if you do want to try out these Sit and Gos keep track of your wins and losses and rake contributed. Long term these do not have expected value because of the rake. For example, your odds of winning are 1 in 10, and if you win you are awarded 10 buy-ins. If there was no rake they would be just like flipping coins. Since there is a rake they are negative expected value. However, if you get lucky early on they could be a great way to pad your rakeback stats, because the games go so fast and require very little attention.
